Use the Worldmap to find the Monsters you have to kill, and the Flaris Npc Map to find the Npcs you have to talk too.

Many General Quest items go to your inventory right away, you wont see them on the floor, just watch your inventory window.  (They also cant be traded with another player) When you reach level 7 you can also start doing the Office quests.
 

Starting Npc: Loyah (Nr. Food Npc, Flaris East Circle)
Objective: Her sister Losha has lost her puppy called Yorrn. You must find it!
Where: The puppy is a regular drop on the ground near northern trees on the west side cliff-edge. of Grownup Lawofs area.

Starting Npc: SsotTta (Flaris east Circle)
Objective: Collect 12 Doridoma Keratins (look like peakyrinds) from Small Doridoma, and 5 Muchurine Secretions (look like forforms) from Captain Mushpangs. You also have to hunt at least one of each mob.
Where: Doridoma, and Mushpang areas.

Starting Npc: Is (Flaris center circle)
Objective: Collect a Lesson 2 in Manual.
Where: Behind Juria, in the garden around the house. Random drop on ground.

Starting Npc: [Novellist] Gergantes (Flaris North circle).
Objective: Party Quest.  Many parts to this quest, more details here
Where: Flaris, Plain of Bubble, and Dradpet Monster Zone.

Starting Npc: Martinyc (Flaris).
Objective: Many parts to this quest, more details here
Where: Most parts are to do with Level 20, lvl 25, and level 30 Troupe Members
Found in Flaris field of Bubble, and SaintMorning Hills of Shade, also Violet Altars

Starting Npc: Rudvihil (East Flaris).
Objective: Many parts to this quest, more details here
Where: Most parts are Fetch and carry quests, but one part requires you to kill a level 30 Red Bang Member.

Starting Npc: [Novellist] Gergantes (Flaris North circle).
Objective: Party Quest.  Many parts to this quest, more details here
